Scott, who has provided commentary on United States foreign relations throughout his career, recently provided insight into several key American topics. This included:

-       October 19, 2023- Scott provided an updated analysis of U.S.-South African relations for one of his alma maters, the London School of Economics and Political Science. South Africa, a member of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa), is becoming closer to their allies. At the same time, a key U.S.-African trade deal known as the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) is soon up for renegotiation.

-       October 21, 2023- Certain metals hold the keys to the American economic engine including the platinum-group metals. Scott took a closer look for the IPD, and argues it’s imperative for the U.S. and its partners to collectively work towards a stable supply of these essential minerals, underpinning the technologies of tomorrow.
